CapraWorks · Motto

Impossible is improbable until made obvious.

— David Dias Marques, founder of CapraWorks ·

What it means

Most things called impossible are only improbable: nobody has done them yet, so the odds look bad. Then someone does it, and from that day on it looks obvious — as if it had always been.

The work lives in the middle step. You do not argue an improbable thing into existence; you build it until it is plain to see. That is how we run every product in the fleet: start with what sounds out of reach, then make it ordinary.

Where it came from

David said it at 10:34 (Paris time) on 4 November 2026, looking back on a night of building. The first version read “Impossible is unlikely until made obvious.” Two minutes later he changed one word: improbable is a step on the scale of chance, where “unlikely” is only a feeling, and it echoes “impossible”. A search that day found no earlier use of the phrase.

En français

« L’impossible n’est qu’improbable, jusqu’à ce qu’on le rende évident. »
