CapraTower game · last updated 17 October 2026

In short

CapraTower is a free game with no ads, no in-app purchases and no sign-in. To find out whether the game is fun and where it breaks, it sends us anonymous records of what happens during play. Nothing it sends identifies you.

What the game records

  • A random install ID, created on your device the first time the game runs. It is not linked to your name, your account or your phone's advertising ID, and uninstalling the game (or clearing its data) deletes it.
  • What happens in the game: runs started and ended, the wave reached, upgrades and weapons chosen, which screens were opened, and how long a session lasted.
  • How many days since you first played and how many sessions you have had, so we can tell whether people come back.
  • Your screen size, pixel density and whether the screen is a touchscreen, so we can fix layouts that break on some devices.
  • The game's version number.
  • On the web version only: the name of the website that linked you to the game (the site name, never the full address).

What it never collects

  • your name, email address, phone number or any account - the game has no sign-in
  • your location, contacts, photos or files
  • your device's advertising ID, or any other device identifier
  • your IP address - our server receives it as part of any internet connection, but does not store it
  • anything from third-party advertising, analytics or tracking libraries - the game contains none

Why, and who handles it

We use these records only to improve the game: balancing difficulty, finding bugs and seeing which features get used. They are never sold, never used for advertising and never shared, except with the two services that run the game's backend: Vercel, which receives the records, and Supabase, which stores them. Both process data on our behalf under their standard data-protection terms. Game progress such as coins and upgrades stays on your device and is not sent to us.

How long we keep it

Gameplay records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.

Turning it off

In a web browser, the game sends nothing if your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. On a phone, uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes the install ID, and any later play starts a new, unconnected one.

Children

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights and contact

Because the records are anonymous, we usually cannot tell which ones are yours. If you have a question or a request under the GDPR, write to [email protected] and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.
